World Youth Day 2011 is a worldwide Catholic event expected to be held over six days from August 16 – 21 2011 in Madrid, Spain. St. Catherine of Alexandria and Council 9964 hopes to send several youth from the parish to this unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
Brother Knights are asked now more than ever to give of their time and their talent, as an individual and as a Council. Your service is needed by your country, your community, your neighbors, your Church, and especially the youth. Together with the Knights of Columbus, let us show our youth how much we care for them.
Knights in Action:
Several members from Council 9964 and Padre Pio Assembly 2247 are very active in WYD 2011 and the parish's K-12 catechetical ministries. As these dedicated knights bring our children and youth to appreciate the works of the Church and the Order, more will respond to their vocations in life to know God, serve Him, and love Him.

Grades 9-12 Catechist Small Faith Community & Planning Meeting:
St. Catherine Church - DiLeo Hall
There will be a very important high school catechist meeting on August 1 at 7 p.m. in the Back of the Social Hall. We will be planning and discussing the sessions for next year, as well as Youth Ministry events. High School catechists, please make every effort to attend as it will be the only meeting before sessions start. If you cannot attend, please let me know at 693-2146. I will be on vacation from June 25 to July 9.
