Degree Exemplifications - The Knights of Columbus

The First Degree imparts a lesson on the virtue of charity. All favorable KC applicants will be need to participate in a First Degree Exemplification prior to receiving membership into the Order. Any brother (especially a proposer) who has received the honors of membership in the first section is strongly encouraged to attend a First Degree Exemplification as a spectator.

Council 9964 has its own first degree team which holds rehearsals throughout the year. Any brother who has been knighted in the third degree is welcome to be a part of the degree team.

All candidates should be dressed in business attire. Shirt with a collar and casual/dress slacks is strongly suggested (coat & tie preferred). Please do not wear t-shirts, shorts, jeans, or tennis shoes. Any Brother who is a proposer should accompany his candidate. Candidates must be found favorable and referred to the degree by their Financial Secretary to register for the degree.
