About the Life Insurance Program
I want to share with you again, what is it that you do when you are an Insured
Member, and how we use your premiums to the benefit to so many people and
programs we fund:
WHAT DOES IT DO???
- We help in the training of Catholic priests and brothers (VOCATIONS).
- We campaign against pornography.
- Provide money and aid in the fight against abortion (RIGHT TO LIFE).
- Helps support Catholic colleges with loans, grants and endowments.
Annually provide money for aid to the Mentally Retarded (SPECIAL
OLYMPICS).
- Provide information about our Catholic Faith (RCIA & CATHOLIC
INFORMATION SERVICE).
- Promote youth organizations, which are needed to make youth morally and
religiously responsible (COLUMBIAN SQUIRES).
- Provide money for university students.
- Pays for the up-link that brings the Pope's message at Christmas, Holy Week
and Easter around the world.
- Provide college scholarships to sons and daughters of D of C members who
are Policemen, Servicemen serving in U.S. Armed Forces, or Firemen who
are killed or disabled as a result of criminal violence.
I think you will agree with me, that being part of the Knights of Columbus Insurance
program not only protects you and your family, but it also serve3s to help preserve
our beliefs, our Church, our Nation, and our Community.
TO SUMMARIZE, THE INSURANCE PROGRAM:
- Provides for retention of existing members.
- We sell dollars for pennies to help provide the financial well being of all our
Brother Knights and their families in the event of a premature death of a
breadwinner.
- Provides financial protection for brother Knights and their families.
- Supports the Church, Widows, State and Community programs.
- Supports the Pope and all the Clergy in their good works.
- Work to make true the Dream of Fr. Michael J. McGivney. We are doing the
work for all Brother Knights and their Families.
