Grand Knight's Message - Knights of Columbus Council 9964 Temecula Valley

July 1, 2010 - Brothers:

Well here we are again at the start of a new Columbian year. First I would like to thank you all. For putting your trust in me by selecting me as you Grand Knight for the upcoming year, and ask for your prayers and support as we go through the year.

This year is going to be a very busy year for Our Council and Parish here at St. Catherine's. We start with our participation in the Fourth of July parade which also kicks off the 100th anniversary celebration for our Parish.

Then in August there's the Annual wine tasting and evening out at Maurice Carrie winery. October brings our ever popular Italian Night and the annual drive for people with intellectual disabilities, and November will be the climax of the 100th anniversary celebration. These are just a few of the activities that we are going to need all of your help to make them successful. I have a saying and that is "To belong you need to participate", so I urge all of you to try to make some time to help us with at least one of these upcoming events.
